Thomas Jones, Age 30
Private, 15995, 18th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.
Thomas was the son of William & Emma who lived at 139 Pool Hill in 1901, He had at some point moved to Stoke-on-Trent (Hanley) where he was living at the time of his enlistment.
Thomas fell in action on the 22nd October 1917 during the Battle of Passchendaele (3rd Ypres) and his body was never recovered. His name appears on the Tyne Cot memorial panels 54-60
